A test driven approach

All Ominor E-Commerce Framework sites are built using a test driven development approach.

Each individual feature of each site is first configured with a comprehensive and automated test which matches the expected business and technical requirements.

The code is then implemented to meet the requirements. When the test passes the feature is complete.

Each Ominor E-Commerce Framework site contains thousands of automated tests covering every feature to support our clients business.

All Ominor developers run all tests before committing any code to a client's sites. If all of the tests do not pass it is impossible to commit the code.

In the event that a bug is detected with a site, a test is written to detect the bug, the bug is then fixed and this test is added to the test rig.

This approach allows Ominor to support our clients in a near bug free environment and provides optimal reliance, site performance and vastly simplifies updates and site modification processes.
